On Tuesday, July 20, 2010, Madison Park Development Corporation (MPDC) and the Boston Housing Authority hosted the ribbon-cutting ceremony in celebration of the completion of Twenty at Luma – 20 newly-built affordable single-family homes for first-time buyers.

Located at the corner of Eustis and Adams Streets in Roxbury, Twenty at Luma’s housing units are all equipped with LEED silver certifiable "green features" including ENERGY STAR appliances, high-efficiency boilers, high quality insulation and windows, healthy building materials, sun panels (photo-voltaic) for reduced heating and cooling costs, and low-flow sinks and toilets.

Twenty at Luma comes as a result of Madison Park Development Corporation’s continued mission to foster the social, physical, economic, and cultural renaissance of the Roxbury community. This project is also a significant part of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s HOPE VI Program to eradicate severely distressed public housing.
